David Castro is a Salvadorian multimedia artist living and working in San Francisco, CA. He collaborates in the creation of multimedia projects with Bay Area Artists and organizations, which include the YMCA, San Francisco State University, Glide Memorial Church, deYoung Museum, Cell Space Gallery and Other Cinema. Castro’s creative interests lie in how cultures construct and de-construct urban life. Though currently based in the Bay Area, David has breadth of multicultural experience, having been an artist in residency in various countries including Mexico, El Salvador, Costa Rica, England and Switzerland.
